Patient Stories

My first impression of Dr. G was that he is my angel!! His profile on this site impressed me to the extent that he was the one I sought to do my surgery. I had been searching for a doctor to do a revision. My impression has not changed nor do I believe it will. The office staff is nothing short of wonderful. They are very attentive to your needs/questions/anxieties. So far, I can think of 'zippo' that I would say I liked least about Dr. Greenbaum. Anyone considering utilizing Dr. Greenbaum should know he is VERY thorough, understanding, compassionate and patient oriented. Aftercare is as important to Dr. Greenbaum as qualifying for and the surgery itself. Perhaps, even more so. Aftercare is a life-long commitment. He and his staff are there for you. There is ALWAYS a doctor in attendance at the support group meetings. (There are two other doctors in the group with Dr. G). The risks of the surgery are addressed fully at the meetings and in the office. Nothing is side skirted. He is very open and forthright with you. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Dr. Greenbaum a 20!! (and that's before surgery!) I have not yet had the opportunity to experience his bedside manner or surgical competence, but I have ALL the faith that he IS the one. I am not the least bit apprehensive about my upcoming surgery. I am semi-excited. I will get more excited as the date draws nearer. That's just the way I am. I think because I fear disappointment, so I don't get excited about anything until I'm really sure it will happen. I know it is suggested that a doctor can be "100%" nor am I suggesting that Dr. Greenbaum is...these are just my feelings now...one month prior to surgery.
